Actor, Entrepreneur, Coach, Consultant – Kates lives and works in Butchertown. She came to Louisville in 2007 and started coaching in 2009. In 2013 she founded The Speaker’s Studio as a place where leaders and speakers could come and practice the physical, vocal, and strategic skills needed to get to the next level. Her clients have included CEOs, Entrepreneurs, Civic Leaders, Professional Auctioneers, Truck Drivers, Engineers, Architects, Ministers, and Musicians.

She has conducted workshops and training for the YMCA, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Woodford Reserve, Brown-Forman, Bank of Montreal, US Bank, Honda Engage and Northwestern Mutual. She also consults extensively on business and strategic communications for businesses of all sizes.
