A startup weekend on steroids, StartupBus is an annual competition where several chartered buses all converge on one city over the course of 3 days. Along the way, bus riders or “buspreneurs” form teams and build a startup from scratch. The bus stops at cool locations and startup spaces in cities along the way and teams get the chance to network and pitch their startup to local entrepreneurs at each stop.

StartupBus has 1700 alumni worldwide, spanning 4 continents, and 26 countries. The competition is run entirely by alumni and this is its 9th year in North America, with 16 prior competitions worldwide.
