StartupLouisville is the hub for startups and high-growth companies in the greater Louisville area. It began as a website created by Vik Chadha, a longtime supporter of entrepreneurship in Louisville. As StartupLouisville evolved, the startup community itself began to support the site, and the programs associated with it. In 2013 we added an event calendar, and began tweeting news about Louisville startups via @StartupLou. In 2015 the website had a significant redesign with enhanced usability and content.

The environment for startups in Louisville is evolving, with new accelerator programs, angel funds and academic programs all adding momentum. It’s increasingly clear that small, innovative companies are an important driver for economic growth, and StartupLouisville exists to tie a diverse set of resources together to support them.

StartupLouisville’s goal is to be the first stop for anyone interested in connecting with the startup community. We connect a broad range of groups and people:
