If you have been successful in business or as an entrepreneur, chances are you lead a team of people.   Most likely your role has evolved over time from being an individual contributor, where you were primarily measured on what you personally accomplish, to now being a team leader who should be measured on what you accomplish through others.  Just because you were highly qualified or successful as an individual contributor doesn’t make you an effective leader, or necessarily successful at enabling the performance of a team.  

Like many skills, leadership can be developed and improved over time. We believe that every person has a unique skill set, with strengths and weaknesses.  Leaders are most effective when they truly understand and work to leverage their unique strengths and skills sets instead of trying to be something they’re not.   Who you are as a leader can be defined as a leadership brand.

A strong leadership brand defines your value proposition, maximizes your influence and your impact.

Whether intentional or unintentional, all leaders have a leadership brand.  Do you know what yours is?
