Speaker Topic

Artificial Intelligence is the defining technology of our time.  When employed well, it is able to extend the power of human analysis, manage dangerous or drudgerous activities, as well as identify potential issues early to enable more effective prevention.  Unfortunately, we are already seeing ways that this technology can be used to spread hate, enforce bias, and invade privacy, as well as the potential disruption to the workforce, which could particularly impact communities already marginalized by technology.

As Louisville looks to establish itself as a hub for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, we are excited to engage a community conversation about how companies at the cutting edge of AI research are thinking about the ethics of Artificial Intelligence with someone on the front lines.
