Leo Provan was born in Canada, raised in Chile and is the parent of a 20-year-old son with autism and cerebral palsy. Leo has a BA in English and taught for many years. The birth of her son took her on a different path to find ways to help in his healing process. Leo became a Craniosacral Practitioner and Reiki Master to help her son in his healing process.
She became Lawrence’s lead therapist and guided a team of therapists in the work with Lawrence on an intensive home program for six years; building skills that would allow Lawrence to someday participate in school. Lawrence stood up and took his first steps at the age of 6. He joined the school system in 2005. Leo offers Cranialsacral and Reiki therapies at her private practice, A Ray of Hope in Louisville, KY.
Julie MacKenzie Moore, originally from Los Altos, California, is happiest expressing her creativity through jewelry. After experiencing great success from selling her own handmade jewelry at local boutiques, Julie’s passion for jewelry came to fruition in 2012 with a storefront at Norton Commons in Louisville KY. She lovingly named it Cale & Cole, as a twist on her two children’s names. Her family has served as an inspiration to her in more ways than one. Crafted in honor of her father, her Wallace gold collection includes meaningful words, such as ‘courage,’ beautifully written in a whimsical, gold or silver.
Come hear how each of these women listened to ‘the universe’ and took that huge step that changed their lives.
