This is a free community engagement event to support emerging entrepreneurs. It's part of LCCC’s vision to eliminate poverty by co-creating vibrant neighborhood conditions within which children, adults and businesses can thrive economically. The Economic Mobility Summit will serve information, networking and resource needs of local start-ups (aspiring entrepreneurs and businesses under five years old) seeking to move their business to the next phase of development. The entire community is welcomed, as this event serves as a pre-cursor to “Techstars Startup Week”. Attendees can expect a power-keynote presentation from rising entrepreneur, Diamond Shirley Alexander, Owner and Principal Broker of Diamond Key Realtors. The day includes breakout workshops lead by industry experts in mobilizing a business idea, accessing capital, franchising, and real estate investment. The summit will conclude with a power-panel discussion wrap up and a business showcase.
