Use geospatial technologies and applying them to real world problems. Please join us this November 16 for GIS Day featuring a first time ever (at UofL) GIS Hackathon! The day kicks off at 9am in the Chao Auditorium with a warm welcome and presentations by invited area guests. The Hackathon will begin at 10am in the Bingham Humanities Bldg., Room 300. We invite all to participate in the throughput of a real local geospatial problem. A map gallery will be featured all day in the Lutz Hall atrium with Pizza and pops served at noon. Free tours of the Audwin and Rae Helton Geographic Information Sciences Laboratory will also be available.
