If you attended our last meeting, you know that crowdfunding has experienced explosive growth over the past five years and it's changing the funding landscape for many entrepreneurs, especially those who otherwise lack access to angel or venture capital. Up until recently, "reward crowdfunding" has had the field to itself. Now an alternative, called "equity crowdfunding", is positioned to augment it, and possibly even replace it as the dominant crowdfunding method.
